Listen the Story

This inspiring story is of a rising CBD-based e-commerce startup called CBxShield, started by Christine De La Rosa from the United States. CBxShield was created to provide the world with a safer and more accessible CBD product by harnesses citrus peels’ untapped potential to create a groundbreaking compound that is molecularly identical to hemp and cannabis-derived CBD but contains no trace of THC. Its sourcing process, legality, and purity creates a safer and healthy alternative to cannabis sourced CBD found on the market, solving some of the most salient problems facing the global CBD industry today. Here is the story of CBxShield in Christine’s own words.

Introduce us to the idea of CBxShield

CBxShield’s first product is CBxImmune, an immune-boosting supplement meant for everyday use. Its proprietary combination of limonene-derived CBD, vitamin C, and USDA Organic Certified adaptogenic reishi mushrooms provides a synergistic boost to the multitude of benefits these substances individually offer.

Reishi mushrooms have been used for centuries to enhance the immune system, reduce stress, improve sleep, and lessen fatigue. By using Chinese reishi mushroom harvested off logs, CBxImmune provides the highest quality ingredients with all-natural and effective benefits.

Along with reishi mushrooms, CBxImmune will also incorporate Vitamin C. Vitamin C is a potent antioxidant and contributes to immune system defense by fighting disease. By combining all of these elements, CBxShield has created unparalleled defensive homeostasis in your body that promotes optimum health all year long.

What’s your strategy story? What led you to start CBxShield?

As an immuno-compromised person, when Covid hit, the first thing I did was research all the holistic ways I could boost my immune system to protect myself. The level of fear and anxiousness around getting sick and possibly dying afraid and alone is real.

Not just for myself but millions of other people. CBxImmune is not a cure, but it could very possibly be of assistance in helping people like myself survive infection from this virus. At the very least, we believe that CBD reduces inflammation in the body, Reishi creates balance in our immune system, and Vitamin C has long been used to boost our immune system. I believe that these three ingredients, together, give you and me the best chance at staying healthy.

What marketing, operation strategies are you adopting at CBxShield?

We are working with a great PR firm 818 agency as well as marketing via social media and SCO. What we find most exciting about marketing our product is that we’re able to market in multiple locations without the same restrictions as Cannabis or THC-derived products and CBD. We are cost-conscious because we are a new company that starting up so we’ve done a lot of gorilla marketing and also outreach to our own personal networks.

What is your competitive advantage at CBxShield?

Our company’s competitive advantage is that we are using a citrus drive CBD instead of a Tayser Hemp Dr., CBD, which means that it literally is available to everyone everywhere many different countries different religious beliefs different types of Employment.

For instance, people in the medical field who don’t normally cannot take a drive to see me derive products would be able to take our CBD which would be very helpful for their pain for their stamina for their own well-being

Share a story when you have been customer-obsessed

This entire product is an outcome of me being customer-obsessed. As a person that takes CBD to regulate her own autoimmune disease, there were so many times that I was speaking on radio shows or TV shows that people from areas that do not have access to Cannabis or CBD would call me to ask me where can I get something or what would be good for them.

It was hard for me to recommend anything because it can’t cross state lines. When creating CBxShield, I was really looking for a CBD that could be used and shipped anywhere because I want people to understand the benefits for themselves. I created an entire company and product line because I’m obsessed with consumers being able to get the medicine they need.

Feedback of a happy customer:

This product is amazing! I stand on my feet all day long at a register and let’s just say my stomach was not happy anymore with over-the-counter pain meds. It’s hard to smile and be friendly when your body is in pain. A friend mentioned citrus CBD and I was skeptical but I liked the idea that it was fruit-derived. After just a few weeks my pain has been reduced so much! I am a customer for life.
